REMEMBER THIS BEFORE YOU DRIVE UP

  • Have your camera ready
  • Watch for deer, fox, bear, moose, bobcats, coyotes, wolf, eagles, owls and cougars
  • Make sure your well ahead of dark when driving on CR-500 to Pine Ridge
  • Make sure you have a full tank of gas before you come out - there are stations in Newberry and Paradise
  • You can get lost easy on the back roads
  • Cell phones rarely work up here
  • There are very few people you'll find to stop and ask directions
  • Back roads other than the route to the camp may be impassible in a car after a heavy rain

Directions
Leave Paradise, Michigan on M-123 traveling west for approximately 18.8 miles
You'll travel through Tahquamenon Falls area, past the Lower and Upper Falls
At CR-500 turn right (CR-500 is a sand and gravel road you'll need to drive slow)
Drive 6.5 miles to the intersection of CR-500 and CR-506
At CR-506 you will take the first trail to the right

This is the turn onto CR-500 off of M-123


Intersection of CR-414 and CR-500 (CR-414 goes to Pike Lake) - stay to the right on CR-500


Go over the Little Two Heart River (paved road area)
Your going to turn right just over the bridge onto CR-506


Your just over the bridge - Turn right on CR-506 for 32 yards and turn onto trail


Onto CR-506 for a short 32 yards


Turn onto trail on right (Little Two Heart Trail) - these signs are on left side of the trail entrance


Drive back to the brown barn


Just past the barn take the trail to the LEFT - NOT the right one LEFT


The right loop goes up to the cabin - the left loop is to the cabin from the bottom side


Cabin is on the right
