REMEMBER THIS BEFORE YOU DRIVE UP

• Your GPS is useless here for directions to the cabin and WILL take you down two track trail roads you will wish you didn't travel.  Print out the directions and follow them.
• You can get lost real easy on the back roads and logging trails
• Back roads other than the route to the cabin may be impassible in a car after a heavy rain
• Make sure you have a full tank of gas before you come out to the cabin - there are stations in Newberry and Paradise
• Cell phones rarely work up here
• Make sure your well ahead of dark when driving on CR-500 to Pine Ridge
• There are very few people you'll find to stop and ask directions
• Have your camera ready
• Watch for deer, fox, grouse, bear, moose, bobcats, coyotes, wolf, eagles, owls and cougars

Directions
From the Mackinaw Bridge toll booth take Interstate 75 north about 8.5 miles to exit 352 (M-123)
At the top of the exit turn on M-123 left (north) to Paradise Michigan 55.5 miles
   Watch your speed on M-123 to Paradise the state police enforce this road on a regular basis
At the stop sign in Paradise turn left following M-123 (traveling west) for approximately 18.8 miles to CR-500
    You'll travel through Tahquamenon Falls area, past the Lower and Upper Falls
At CR-500 turn right (CR-500 is a sand and gravel road you'll need to drive slow)
Drive 6.5 miles to the intersection of CR-500 and CR-506
Turn right on CR-506 in less than 50 yards you will take the first trail to the right (Little Two Hearted Trail)

Looking west on M-123, this is where you turn onto CR-500 off of M-123


Driving north, this is the intersection of CR-414 and CR-500 (CR-414 goes to Pike Lake) - stay to the right on CR-500


Go over the Little Two Heart River (paved road area)
Your going to turn right just over the bridge onto CR-506


Your just over the bridge - Turn right on CR-506 for 32 yards and turn onto trail


Onto CR-506 for a short 32 yards


Turn onto trail on right (Little Two Heart Trail) - these signs are on left side of the trail entrance


Drive past the new cabin on the right that is for sale back to the brown barn


Just past the barn take the trail to the LEFT - NOT the right trail LEFT


The right loop goes up to the cabin - the left loop is to the cabin from the bottom side


Cabin is on the right

If coming from Newberry it is approximately 22 miles to CR-500 from the intersection of M-28 and M-123
